Russian clubs Zenit St Petersburg, CSKA Moscow and Anzhi Makhachkala were all in talks with Bony over a move to the Russian Premier League according to his agent, but a move to one of these clubs failed to come about and now other clubs will have a chance to sign him in the summer.Liverpool might be one of these clubs as they have been interested in signing Bony before it is believed with it being reported that they held talks with Bony before Christmas over a potential move to Liverpool with Bony’s agent stating: “Liverpool are one of the clubs who have been considering him.”
“We have been in talks with them. It is clear that Bony has attracted interest due to his good performances and consistency.”
Bony has also attracted interest, if rumours are to be believed, and will probably continue to do so from not only Liverpool but also Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham because of the amount of goals he has scored for Vitesse Arnhem in Eredivisie this season which is 22 goals in 21 games with him scoring a hat-trick in Vitesse Arnhem’s most recent match.
This goal scoring prowess could indeed mean that Liverpool could make a move to sign the Ivory Coast international this summer as they might possibly be looking to add to their options when it comes to forwards if Borini or Suarez did leave the club.
If Liverpool did decide to sign Bony it is believed that he would cost Liverpool around 15 million pounds.
